The Bay Area Midwifery Fund Needs Your Help!
The Bay Area Midwifery Fund (BAMF) was established in 2008 by Bay Area midwives, former clients and others with the goal of making midwifery care available to women with limited income. BAMF is funded entirely by tax-deductible donations and is administered by an all-volunteer staff of midwives; the Fund is managed through The Circle of Life Foundation.
As midwives we strive to serve all women regardless of class or income. Unfortunately we are finding it increasingly difficult to meet this goal without the help of the wider community. BAMF provides loans to eligible MediCal recipients for midwifery care.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation and encouraging other members of your community to contribute to the fund so that midwives may continue the work of serving all women. All donations are tax-deductible.
